Apple has pushed out an update to close yet more password bypass flaws in iOS.

iOS 7 update fixes passcode bypass

The release iOS 7.0.3 fixed lock screen bypass issues that allowed users with physical access to make calls, guess an infinite number of passcodes without being locked out, and to be able to access contacts.

Apple's previous mobile updates included patches to workarounds that were disclosed by iOS penetrators.

This latest update also adds iCloud Keychain to keep track of account names, passwords and credit card numbers across all approved devices, as well as adds a password generator that allows Safari to suggest passwords that are more challenging for intruders to guess.

Additionally, iOS 7.0.3 fixes issues where iMessage was failing to activate or failing to send altogether, as well as improving system stability when using iWork apps.

Casual users may find that the biggest difference is aesthetic. After complaints that some of the new visuals and animations were causing motion sickness, the latest iOS update enhances the Reduce Motion setting to create a more static interface.
