Moving up from IT code monkey to CIO, CEO and then on to managing director at your workplace.

Announcement: ACS breakfast event
As the impact of technology on Australian business becomes more obvious, more business leaders who are fluent in IT are required.

The Australian Computer Society is hosting a breakfast function to discuss the changing roles and skills of CIOs. The focus is on how the boardrooms of major companies around the country are looking to make the most of the talents of technologists by adding them to the board of directors.

To illustrate this, the guest speaker will be Ralph Norris, CEO and MD of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. His resume has roots in an IT department, where he rose to the role of CIO before chairing the Commonwealth Bank.

Don’t miss this chance to meet and greet the heavyweights and your peers in the industry.
