Telstra announces subscription plans for SMEs
Telco giant Telstra has announced a new range of subscription based plans offering untimed and unlimited call options for eligible small business customers.

The new plans will help the majority of Australia's small business sector control costs and also provide the flexibility to customise individual lines depending on their usage levels for local calls, STD calls and mobile calls, the firm claimed.

Deena Shiff, group managing director of Telstra Business, said customer feedback indicated small businesses appreciated the cost certainty and simplicity of a subscription based pricing plan that allows access to untimed and unlimited call options by paying a simple monthly fee.

"No longer do businesses need to worry about where in Australia they are calling, or for how long. Business people can also make decisions about which of their lines are being used a lot, and for what purposes - and adopt appropriate plans for each, individual line," added Shiff.

Some of the options available through the BusinessLine Select range of plans include 30c untimed STD calls for an additional monthly fee of $10 on top of the standard monthly access fee, or unlimited STD calls for an additional monthly fee of $30.00.
