The IT industry increased the number of job ads that it is posted last month, according to a recruitment firm.

The IT industry increased the number of job ads that it is posted last month, according to a recruitment firm.


According to Olivier's Internet Job Index for June, the number of job ads placed by the IT industry increased 1.46 percent.

This was a 55.75 percent increase on the same period last year, according to a statement from the company.

There was also a 21.45 percent  increase in the number of jobs placed in the multimedia, internet and graphics jobs sector.

Helen Olivier, a director at the Olivier Group, said that it was a small sector with a limited amount of jobs, but was "riding on the back of the whole IT resurgenceā€.
