Hewlett-Packard said Thursday that it agreed to acquire TruLogica, a Dallas-based provider of user-provisioning software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TruLogica's software automates the process of managing user privileges across multiple systems. HP said it plans to integrate the technology into its OpenView Select Access software to provide a complete federated identity management solution.

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.
