Deloitte opens annual Fast 50 nominations

Joshua Tanchel, Deloitte private partner and leader of Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 program said it was "about rewarding local high performance companies which, in a difficult climate, have managed to create sustained impressive growth driven by innovative technology and fresh ideas.

"Technology companies face constant challenges including accessing finance to grow, developing new technologies and innovations to meet changing customer needs, retaining talented people, coping with compliance burdens and entering new market segments and/or expanding their customer base in existing market segments," he said.

Technology companies had to show sustained growth over the last three years to be eligible to enter.

Previous winners included ComTel Corporation and TigerSpike.

Nominations close September 30.
