Security vendor Clearswift has signed Classic Blue Solutions and Vectra as premium partners for its web and email content security offerings.

Clearswift said in a statement that the new resellers gave it more coverage across Australia and Asia in the risk management market.

Peter Croft, managing director at Clearswift Asia Pacific, said in the statement that the two signings were a step towards growth and channel expansion.

"Clearswift customers will benefit from the services and expertise Vectra and Classic Blue offer in risk management and IT Security systems integration," Croft said.

Chris Smerdon, managing director at Vectra, said Clearswift had good email and web content security.

"Our customers rely on us for independent security advice and Vectra has always aligned with the best available software and hardware," Smerdon said.

Vectra and Clearswift were both increasingly targeting Asian markets, Smerdon said.

Vectra sold strategic and technical information security services, vulnerability assessments, business risk management and secure network design for customers in banking and finance, transport, manufacturing, retail, health and government, Clearswift said.

Adrian Bogatez, managing director of Classic Blue, said the partnership with Clearswift would extend its service and product offerings in email and web management.

"The partnership with Clearswift complements our existing services and opens up a new range of capabilities," Bogatez said.

Classic Blue offered business continuity and recovery facilities. The reseller recently bought Securix Australia's IT security arm, adding to its managed services and IT service capabilities, Clearswift said.

Classic Blue had locations in Australia, Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, Clearswift said.
