If you’re not bothered about 3G and want a fully-featured WM6 device it makes a bargain choice, though you can save even more cash with Palm’s Centro.

Review: HTC P3470
We were massive fans of the fully-featured Dopod P800W and liked its 3G update, the HTC Cruise.

The P3470 matches the quad-band P800W for features, sporting BlueTooth, WiFi, GPS and 2G (EDGE) download speeds. The latter makes it (much) cheaper than other HTC models and means battery life is increased – it was almost five days before we needed to recharge.

The processor speed has doubled to 400MHz making everything a bit zippier although the low-powered P800W’s battery lasted longer. The P3470 is also a touch longer but provides great functionality with WM6 Professional (instead of WM5) and HTC’s TouchFLO interface for finger operation.
