Apple will delay shipments of its wireless AirPod headphones for an unspecified amount of time.

The headphones, which wirelessly connect to the new iPhone 7, were suppose to hit the market this month.
The company did not specify the reason for the delay.
"We don't believe in shipping a product before it's ready, and we need a little more time before AirPod are ready for our customers,"an Apple spokesperson said.
The delay comes just a day before Apple will hold an event to unveil new Mac computers. It had been expected to detail AirPod availability at the event.
Apple showed off the AirPod at the launch of the iPhone 7 last month. The new iPhones come without the analogue headphone jack.
Apple has previously said the headphones will cost A$229 when they go on sale.
