Telstra has awarded a five-year $350 million deal to Silcar to maintain its exchanges and other copper network assets nationwide.
Under the agreement, Silcar would provide network integrity and facilities management services for standby power, energy and cooling systems at Telstra's network sites.
"Silcar's strong relationship with Telstra has grown over more than 10 years and this contract recognises our advanced and reliable capabilities," Thiess managing director David Saxelby said in a statement.
Silcar is a joint venture between Thiess Services and Siemens.
