
The company has advised consumers to stop using the devices and contact the manufacturer for a free replacement.
The recall affects several models of the firm's JumpDrive FireFly as well as the 1GB JumpDrive Secure II device.
The FireFly drives were sold by several retailers between April and May at prices between US$30 and US$110. The Secure II drive was sold exclusively at the US electronics discount store Fry's Electronics in May for about US$80.
