The company said on Tuesday that it would expand the collaboration tool to allow users to access the service from several Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung handsets.
"Cisco is now extending the collaborative experience to leading smartphones, " said Cisco collaboration software senior vice president Doug Dennerline.
"The freedom that users will be able to gain from using this solution will help businesses and their employees to increase productivity because workers will be able to work wherever and whenever they wish, using their chosen device. "
For Blackberry users, WebEx will be available for the Storm, Bold and Curve 8900 models. Samsung users will be able to access the service on the Blackjack II handset, and Nokia will get WebEx for its Eseries and Nseries smartphones.
Mobile phone users will be able to access the service over both 3G and wifi internet connections.
In addition to support for the presentation and video conferencing services, Cisco also plans to allow users to send and receive confirmation of meetings by way of SMS messages.
