Biza.io welcomes Jessica Booth to the COO role

Booth said on LinkedIn she was “happy to share” her new role with the consumer data right (CDR) solutions company.

The COO was a newly created position with Booth to turn attention to pushing operational efficiencies and cross-team collaboration.

First joining Biza.io in September 2023, Booth was first taking on the role of head of customer success for roughly eight months.

Before this, Booth was the head of customer success at construction software company, Mastt and also held senior leadership roles at AlayaCare ANZ and Telstra Health.

On top of the appointment of Booth, Biza.io added it has been building out its team bringing the number of total staff to 32, an increase of 48 percent.

The company intends to continue to hire up with plans to bring on board five new employees in its product and go-to-market teams, including a cloud engineer and two mid-level engineers to support several projects in the works.

Stuart Low, founder and CEO of Biza.io said, “Jessica has quickly become an invaluable member of the Biza team.”

“With Jessica’s steady hand on the tiller and well-reasoned strategic thinking, Biza is well-placed to continue to simultaneously scale and drive innovation throughout the CDR ecosystem,” Low said.

Low also told Digital Nation up until now he has been splitting his time “between creating the vision and big picture initiatives of the organisation as well as driving the execution and day to day operations activities of Biza”.

“The time has come to focus the vision and the big picture initiatives leaving Jessica to transform the vision into something that is actionable and achievable.

“[Booth] will be leading, managing and holding people accountable serving as a force within the organisation to drive clarity and communication throughout the team.”

Part of the role will also see Booth be “responsible for P&L and will be overseeing HR, Finance and Legal departments as well as ensuring the executive team are executing on our quarterly and yearly strategy and plans.”

Booth will report to Low and other hires for the company include the appointment of Rob Hale as its chief technology officer back in 2022.
