Intersystems is tempting the development community with a $4000 prize to promote one of its products.


CACHE is a post-relational database, using technologies Intersystems' wishes to showcase as superior to traditional relational databases.

The company hopes to lure Australian developers into using its new database with the prize, which will be awarded for the best application of CACHE technology.

The company will award a $4000 electronics package from Harvey Norman. The winner will be announced at Intersystem's developer conference -- Symposium 2005, which runs through 11-12 May.

Intersystems specialises in database solutions for the healthcare industry.
