Australian superannuation fund UniSuper has appointed three women within its c-suite roles, a new chief marketing and growth officer, chief member and advice officer and chief financial officer.

Dani Murrie has secured the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer role, Danielle Mair has been appointed as the Chief Member and Advice Officer, and Anastasia Crisafi is the new Chief Financial Officer.
The three newly created roles will support organisation-wide strategic alignment in how the business delivers greater value to members through competitive returns, low fees and excellent service.
Peter Chun, CEO at UniSuper’s CEO said, “Creating these positions and appointing three remarkable women was an easy choice for us – they were the standout candidates. Each new hire brings unique and valuable perspectives to the fund as we put a greater focus on growth and financial management in an increasingly competitive super landscape.”
Dani Murrie has been appointed Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, joining UniSuper from MetLife, following a career in finance, working across Colonial First State, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, and First Abu Dhabi Bank in the United Arab Emirates.
Murrie said, “UniSuper has such a strong story to tell – with a history of strong long-term performance* and low fees. I look forward to accelerating the lift in brand awareness and delivering an exceptional employer and customer experience.”
Danielle Mair has been appointed Chief Member and Advice Officer and will be responsible for streamlining member experience. She will commence her role on 1 March 2022.
Danielle joins UniSuper from Sunsuper where she has held a number of senior leadership roles including her current role, Acting Chief Strategy, Member Growth & Advice Officer. Prior to Sunsuper Danielle held senior leadership roles at Macquarie Bank, MBF and Suncorp.
“I’m looking forward to taking on the new challenges presented by joining a growing fund – helping ensure that our members get the most out of their super,” Mair said.
Rounding out the appointments is Anastasia Crisafi as Chief Financial Officer, joining UniSuper from Link Group where she worked for the last seven years (with an additional six years prior at Superpartners), most recently as the Global Finance Director of Retirement and Superannuation Solutions.
“I’m excited to work for a fund that recognises the importance of diversity in leadership roles – different backgrounds and perspectives are integral to the success of any organisation. UniSuper is driving positive change in the industry, and I’m proud to be a part of that change,” Crisafi said.
Ms Crisafi will commence her role with UniSuper on 1 April, 2022
