ASX-listed Tyro Payments is seeking a new chief information security officer to replace Manasseh Paradesi, who is set to leave.

iTnews understands Paradesi is stepping down from the role, with recruitment for his replacement underway.

Reporting to chief risk officer Steven Chapman, the new CISO will be “responsible for establishing, maintaining, and overseeing Tyro's information security program,” according to a job advertisement.

The CISO's remit also covers “the strategic development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and technologies to protect Tyro's assets, data, and reputation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements”.

Paradesi has been with Tyro for just over two years, where he joined from a medical equipment manufacturing company, Omniscient Neurotechnology.

Before this, Paradesi held a variety of senior security leadership roles at organisations including Cover-Moore Group, AGL and GE Energy Connections.
