Tegatech bring US-base UMPC product to Australia.

Tegatech's sunny view
Tablet PC distributor Tegatech Australia has signed a distribution agreement with US-based rugged computing giant, Nova Mobility.

As part of the agreement Tegatech will also launch the SunPad - a Nova Ultra
Mobile PC (UMPC) introduced to the A/NZ. Tegatech also announced pricing and the fact that it would make the SunPad available as soon as the first week August 2007.

Victor Ortega, principal at Tegatech said the SunPad is a semi-rugged UMPC which contains unique features like an 8.4 inch screen, PCMCIA slot and hot-swappable battery.

“In the past we have not been able to meet these demands of outdoor views where poor and rugged devices were often too expensive. The arrival of the Nova SunPad is probably the most exciting launch for us this year and will sit nicely with resellers targeting military, police, mining and other verticals,” said Ortega.

Tegatech Australia Resellers experienced an increased number of successes in 2007 and are confident the new range will generate an increase in sales and ultimately in profitability for those Authorised with the Company.

Product will begin shipping to resellers as early as the first week of August, 2007. For additional details, pricing and pre-order information, please visit http://www.tegatech.com.au.
