Teachers Mutual Bank data analytics chief departs

Nichelsen joined the mutual bank from Standard Chartered, Singapore, in February 2023 with a view to set the “direction for...end-to-end data analytics and insights”.

Announcing his move to data collaboration company IXUP, Nichelsen wrote on LinkedIn: “I feel privileged to have been part of this purpose led organisation.

“The focus on values, people and community has been inspiring, and I’ve been constantly amazed by the dedication and collaboration of the bank and my team. Whether tackling complex challenges or pursuing opportunities to innovate, my team always leaned in with resilience and commitment.”

Teachers Mutual Bank told iTnews that it was “actively” for a new chief data officer.

“Greg Nichelsen was a highly valued member of Teachers Mutual Bank Limited’s senior leadership team,” a spokesperson said.

“During his time he has helped evolve Teachers Mutual Bank Limited’s data and insights capabilities to drive high-quality decision making. We thank Greg for his service to our bank and wish him all the best for his next chapter.”
