Acts on per-user basis.

Sophos has announced the launch of EndUser Protection to help tackle the increase in devices used by a businesses workforce.

According to the company, Sophos EndUser Protection provides consolidated protection for every device on a network by securing per-user rather than per-device. This means the organisation protects all user devices wherever users go.

Combining Sophos endpoint protection and mobile device management offerings, it said that the solution alleviates the burden that bring your own device (BYOD) places on IT, while simplifying and improving the security and management of every device employees are using to access corporate data.

Matt Fairbanks, chief marketing officer at Sophos, said: “Every day, I use three or four different devices for business purposes, and the consumerisation trend points to more people using even more devices.
