Exec rolls out channel program.

Safenet global channel chief Sean Price has refreshed the security vendor's partner program in Australia.

Safenet extends products to all resellers

Under the updated program, Safenet extended its various product lines to all resellers for the first time.

It also incorporated the products and channel program from Aladdin which it acquired last year.

“We’ve actually tried to pull the best of both programs together and we’ve done just that I think: combined those two things and then made those products available to general resellers that have the ability to focus on the whole product line not just pieces of it,” Sean Price, VP of worldwide channels at Safenet told CRN

"In the past it was really broken down around different product lines.

“We’re obviously working very hard to bring a number of the folks that sold individual products into the fold to sell the complete product line."

Price said free sales and pre-sales technical support training was available to resellers.

Under the new program, Safenet would continue its distribution partnership with itX. Resellers would be classified as platinum, gold and silver.

“There are certain certifications and requirements at each level there are revenue goals at each level and it is really a combination of an existing program.

Further, Price said Safenet was "looking to expand its existing reseller base".
