Online retailer Roses Only is set to ramp up a "business systems expansion", revealing plans to bring a chief information officer on board to oversee the project.

According to a job advertisement, the e-tailer is after an "entrepreneurial information technology expert" to lead it through an “exciting new phase" of the expansion.
A Roses Only spokesperson declined to comment, citing competitive advantage concerns.
It's not clear whether the CIO job is a new position, or a replacement for an existing CIO. Roses Only declined to comment.
The advertisement calls for a candidate with a decade’s worth of experience. In particular, the candidate must have worked with Microsoft systems such as Great Plains and, in the wording of the ad, have “experience with the deployment of major new business systems, on time project management and vendor management.”
Roses Only has several sales peaks during the year. The largest, Valentine’s Day, last year saw sales volumes leap by a factor of 24.
