Passengers are slowly filtering through Melbourne's busy Tullamarine international airport this morning after a “network connectivity issue” drew check-in and luggage services to standstill.

Melbourne Airport’s operators advised of a “service interruption due to network connectivity” at around 9:30am AEDT, affecting check-in and baggage services for outbound travel.
The airport later confirmed the unspecified "technical issue" had been resolved by 11:00am.
"It is important to note that no safety or security systems were impacted during this brief outage," Melbourne Airport said in a statement.

"Flight information available on the Melbourne Airport website remains up to date and we recommend all travellers check this information to determine whether their flight has been impacted."
A Qantas spokesperson told iTnews the issue had not disrupted the domestic terminal it operates, but there was an approximate 60 minute delay to its morning international flights to Singapore, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
