Established in 1999, SDM is a systems integrator specialising in the development of business applications on Microsoft platforms and products.

It also specialises in systems integration, business consulting, CRM, business intelligence and enterprise project management.

Both organisations have worked in the commercial and government (at local, state and federal) levels, said DWS’s managing director, Geoff Rohrsheim.

“SDM employs around 85 staff and has clients in all states and offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. SDM is on track to make $11 million in revenue for 2008,” he said.

Rohrsheim said there are significant synergies between the two organisations. The transaction is expected to be completed by January 2008.
