An AMP spokesperson told iTnews that Nath "was an internal promotion, and reports to Dean Cleary, director of data, infrastructure, AI and services.”

Nath was previously the head of technology for investments and oversaw 65 platforms required for the organisation’s operations, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Meanwhile, his predecessor has made his way to TMBL to take up the chief data officer role, reporting to chief customer officer Greg Johnson.

Ruming will also take over from former chief data analytics officer Greg Nichelsen, who stepped away from the role after two years back in January.

iTnews understands despite the slight name change, the role is the same.

While at AMP, Ruming was the data lead on a contract basis, accountable for delivering an enterprise-wide data strategy whilst maintaining effective data risk management, according to his LinkedIn.

TMBL also recently appointed a new CIO.
