Russell Brown is a New Zealand-based journalist, broadcaster and blogger. He publishes the award-winning Public Address group blog site, hosts the TV show Media Take and writes and comments on media and policy-related topics.

Russell was the computer columnist for the New Zealand Listener for more than a decade and won national media awards for news, features and column writing as a staff reporter and news editor with IDG New Zealand. His personal blog, Hard News, was the first blog to win a national media award.
