Peter Bourke, the long-serving IT director for shopping centre giant Westfield, has revealed he will move on from the role by the end of the year.

iTnews confirmed themove, which Bourke first revealed to CIO Australia earlier today.
Bourke said he was unable to reveal to where he would be moving.
“I haven’t confirmed a position yet,” Bourke said.
Whether Bourke chose to leave the role of his own accord was not clear.
When asked what prompted him to step down from the role he said there was "some restructuring going on in Westfield”.
Bourke said he understood his role at Westfield would not be replaced.
“I believe that’s the case but I haven’t had any input into that,” he said.
When asked whether his exit from the company indicated wider restructuring across Westfield’s IT operations, Bourke said: “I really can’t answer that. I’m still interested to understand what is happening myself”.
It’s understood that Bourke has held his current title since 2005. About six months ago he carried it into Scentre Group which was created last June when Westfield Group split its European and US assets away from its Australian and New Zealand operations.
Bourke said he was currently transitioning out of the role and expected to finish by the end of the year.
