The US firm plans to integrate the technology using the extensible plug-in architecture currently available in the endpoint security software.

The technologies that will be added to the product are an advanced firewall, packet inspection technology and a security update service.

Furthermore, the modified software will include anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall and host intrusion defence.

According to Michael May Enterprise Director for A/NZ Trend Micro through a rigorous evaluation process, we concluded that Third Brigade’s technology is truly best-in-class, and is uniquely suited to meet the demanding requirements of our customers

"Today’s corporate IT departments are grappling with how best to secure their mobile work force from intrusions without obstructing their productivity or access to Web-based applications,” said May.
