The Vaio FZ comes in multiple configurations, including 'premium' and 'standard' models.

The 'premium' version can play Blu-ray high-definition content in full 1080 HD resolution, as well as record, store and play back personal content on high-capacity Blu-ray disc media.

Weighing less than six pounds, the Vaio FZ packs a 15.4in widescreen display and an HDMI output for connection to a high-definition television.

The FZ 'standard' model will start at about US$1,400, while the FZ 'premium' model will go for around US$2,000 and is available in mid-May.
