Novell loss narrows

Novell has reported a net loss of US$91.7 million or 25 cents per share for its fiscal fourth quarter ending October 31, a slightly better result than its US$95.4 million net loss or 26 cents per share for the same quarter last year. This quarter, the company took charges for a write-down in real estate assets and venture investments. Revenues fell to $300 million from $316 million.
