Navman GPS puts users in the picture
The latest additions to Navman's range of GPS devices include an integrated camera.

The N40i and N60i will record the location where a picture was taken and embed the information in the image file. Both devices feature a 1.3-megapixel camera.

Users can then share their pictures with other NavPix compatible devices and navigate to locations using images rather than a description.

The N20 is also compatible with NavPix images, but does not include a built-in camera.

The N series range includes European street level mapping pre-loaded on the N60i and provided on CD for the N40i and N20.

All models can display up-to-date traffic information via the optional T1 traffic pack. The feature is subscription-free, and is now available in three additional European countries - Denmark, The Netherlands and Belgium - in addition to the UK, Germany and France.

Navman promises that the new touch screens feature a brand new anti-fingerprint surface.

"It is great to see more and more people getting involved with NavPix," said Prash Vadgama, president of Navman Europe.
