
Under the five-year deal, KAZ said it would provide IT management, support development services for FISSO’s network. FISSO is responsible for the Navy’s email communication at sea.
KAZ said it beat competitors CSC, Tennix, Lockheed Martin and ADI to the deal.
Meanwhile, the company also announced a $6 million, three-year managed services contract to provide asset divestment and IT infrastructure management services to GESB, Western Australia’s largest super fund.
Under the contract, GESB is transferring the ownership of its servers, desktops, storage and data communications hardware.
KAZ would also provide desktop, server, LAN, database and system administration, service desk operations disaster recovery and services hosting.
