ISP Internode has announced plans to spend $1.4 million expanding its Adelaide data centre.

Internode spends $1.4m on data centre upgrade

The company said it would expand the size of the data centre by 144 square metres and install 18 racks capable of operating at densities up to 10 kW.

The expanded data centre was due to open in January.

The original $3 million, 1000 square metre facility was launched by Internode in April 2007 on the site of a former Westpac cheque processing centre.
