IBA Health has signed a new deal with the General Authority for Health Services (GAHS) in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (UAE).

The deal will see the eHealth provider implement and manage the administrative and clinical information technology supplied to GAHS by IBA in nine key facilities located in the Emirates.

The GAHS delivers healthcare in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and is responsible for the day to day running of all hospitals, clinics and primary healthcare centres in the UAE.

IBA Health CEO Steve Garrington said the agreement reinforced the company’s ongoing affiliation with the Emirate’s largest and most prestigious hospital and healthcare facilities provider.

“The agreement provides a benchmark for healthcare technology and services in the UAE and demonstrates our ability to win repeat business with prestigious clients in this region,” he said in an ASX statement.

IBA Health develops and sells software applications to manage the administrative clinical and financial needs of organisations across all health sectors.

The company has a team of more than 400 health and technology professionals, with installations in over 420 hospitals and clinics covering Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Middle East and South Africa.
