Online tradie marketplace, hipages Group has promoted vice president of sales, Robert Tolliday, to the new position of chief revenue officer (CRO).

The long-time staffer of around six years, Tolliday will oversee all aspects of revenue generation for hipages Group across Australia and New Zealand.
In the new CRO role, Tolliday will report directly to hipages Group CEO, Roby Sharon-Zipser.
The position will see Tolliday cover various duties including managing the continued roll-out job management platform, hipages tradiecore, fast-track its rapidly growing partnerships program, driving scale in New Zealand via Builderscrack and expanding all revenue streams, according to the company.
hipages Group CEO and co-founder, Roby Sharon-Zipser said, “I am thrilled to announce the promotion of Robert to Chief Revenue Officer. Rob has been an integral part of the hipages team for six years, demonstrating exceptional leadership and vision in significantly shaping our sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
“Under his guidance, our sales operations have seen remarkable improvements. He has been instrumental in introducing and developing new revenue channels and leading the evolution of hipages product offerings for Tradies,” Sharon-Zipser said.
Tolliday said, “During my time at hipages, there’s never been more momentum behind the business than now.
“Not only have we seen rapid advancements with the addition of Builderscrack and hipages tradiecore to our portfolio, but our evolving offerings for both tradies and homeowners continue to drive growth across all avenues.
“As our newly appointed chief revenue officer, I couldn’t be more excited to help the business progress even further by building on and bolstering our rich set of revenue streams,” Tolliday said.
On LinkedIn, he also added he was “excited” to share “news of my promotion”.
“It's been incredible to be a part of hipages successes over the past 6.5 years. There have been so many highlights; from listing on the ASX to transitioning to a subscription model and growing our NZ business.
“Looking forward to many more wins in accelerating our revenue growth as I take on this new role,” he said.
Last year, hipages underwent a small structural change with the appointed of a new chief technology officer and chief product officer, ending the chief product and technology officer role within the organisation.
The company also created a tradie advisory board to bring the voice of the customer into their product decision-making towards to end of last year.
