Bottle Domains wins injunction against auDA

Bottle Domains has won a temporary injunction against the Australian domain name regulator that could see its reinstatement as early as today.

The registrar, owned by Nicholas Bolton's Australian Style Investments, brought emergency proceedings against auDA in the Supreme Court today after its accreditation to sell .AU domains was terminated.

Bottle Domains won the matter in the Supreme Court today and is expected to make a statement shortly.

It is unclear how the reversal will impact domain holders, particularly those that took auDA's advice and shifted to another registrar.
