The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) has promoted its assistant director of digital development Denise De Keyzer to the dual roles of CIO and deputy CISO.

Green had been CIO and CISO in her tenure, according to her LinkedIn.

It's unclear why the dual CIO-CISO role has changed to CIO-Deputy CISO. iTnews was unable to source an explanation.

De Keyzer has been with the agency for over 20 years.

According to a recent job advertisement, the CIO role will require “leveraging new technologies and platforms to create value” and that will require the “integration and assimilation of emerging digital technologies”.

De Keyzer will also be tasked with leading “organisational-wide, technology-related culture change initiatives in a dynamic workplace”.

Writing on LinkedIn, Green said that "after [over] 25 years as an ICT professional with the last eight years at ARPANSA in business and technology roles, I am now dedicating myself to achieving business and personal success as a digital innovation strategist and non-executive director."
