Bendigo Bank's Redy application is now available from the Google Play and Apple App stores. Logging in to the app requires a four digit pin.
Once logged in, the customer aims the camera at the QR code generated by the merchant on the Samsung device with a transaction-specific purchase price.
The application receives the code and prompts the user to accept the transaction.
The payment has been made, and "cred" has been awarded (half a percent of the total purchase price).

Customers are given the option of transferring their creds into dollar value...
... or donating the loyalty points to a participating charity or project.
They can also view the balance of their mobile wallet..
.. as well as their recent transaction history.
The app utilises the GPS location services within the phone to inform users of nearby participating merchants.
