NSW Police smash Australian sales arm of global pirate TV network.

Police arrive in Hurstville for a raid on a business suspected of selling set-top boxes that access streaming pirate TV networks.

NSW Police found a number of set-top boxes that offered the streaming service.

A man assists Police with their inquiries. One male was later taken in for questioning.

A forensic analysis of the set-top box purchased from the Hurstville retailer revealed how it draws streaming television and on-demand movies from peer-to-peer servers based in China.

The set-top box is revealed to be a Windows embedded device.

The 1000 channels offered over the service include the BBC, CNN, MTV, ESPN, HBO, Fox and many other English language channels, along with Asian language content.
