Letter: Microsoft still rules

I very much enjoyed Mark Mayne's report on the forthcoming Vista upgrade to Windows (SC, July, p36).

None of us can ignore Microsoft, even those that purport to do exactly that. It's nice to see that SC recognises that what happens in Redmond is still important, despite fashionable claims that its power is waning.
