Dr Rebecca Giblin is a a member of the law faculty at Monash University in Melbourne, having begun her career as a technology consultant with UK and Australian enterprises. She was awarded a PhD for doctoral research on secondary liability for copyright infringement in 2008 and was most recently the author of the book "Code Wars: 10 years of P2P software litigation", looking at the efforts of content owners to litigate peer-to-peer file sharing software developers.
