SAP APJ promotes Angela Colantuono to SVP and head of SuccessFactors

Global enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendor SAP has promoted Angela Colantuono to senior vice president and head of SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management Suite (HXM) in Asia Pacific and Japan.

Colantuono steps up from her role as VP and head of SuccessFactors for Australia and New Zealand which she has held since 2020. Her jump follows Aaron Green’s promotion from APJ head of SuccessFactors HXM to chief marketing and solutions officer.

According to Colantuono the role will see her develop the regional go-to-market strategy for the business.

“I’m passionate about helping customers navigate customer demand, disruptive competitors, and shifts in the market by building a vibrant and flexible workforce.

"HR leaders are being called to go beyond the traditional tools of HR and human capital management, and create work experiences that drive not only engagement and productivity, but also sustainability and profitability,” she said.

Before joining SAP in 2017 as head of key/enterprise and public sector, Australia, she was at Oracle for 16 years, with her final role at the business being GM customer experience and CRM in Australia.

According to a LinkedIn post announcing the move, Colantuono said, “I am privileged to join Paul Marriott & the incredible SAP Regional Team as we continue to assist our customers build the workforce agility they need to keep pace with continuous change.

“A massive heartfelt thank you to my dearest friend Aaron Green who over 5 years ago convinced me to join him at SAP SuccessFactors. What a ride, he taught us to focus on our wonderful People and Customers and together we built a super special business with an incredible team and over 350 customers.”

She also highlighted Damien Bueno, president and managing director of SAP ANZ and Pete Andrew, head of industries SAP ANZ for their work alongside the senior leadership team in creating “a wonderful workplace for women to shine & pursue their dreams”.

Green also posted about his promotion to the c-suite on LinkedIn, stating, “As many of you know, I am incredibly passionate about the practice of human experience management and how organisations can deliver increased talent engagement as a lever to drive meaningful outcomes. I could not be more excited to start this new chapter of my career at SAP SuccessFactors and the opportunity to change work for good with this incredible team.”
