Link sharing platform Linktree has appointed three new leaders to its c-suite, Farnaz Azmoodeh as chief technology officer, Sam Rogoway as chief product officer (CPO) and Monica Austin as chief marketing officer (CMO).
All three will be reporting directly to Alex Zaccaria, CEO at Linktree. The roles of CPO and CMO are newly created roles within the business.
In a blog post, Zaccaria said, "Azmoodeh, Rogoway and Austin will each have a massive impact on our growth, product, Linkers, and how we realise the Linktree Vision: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe. I’m honoured to be able to work with and learn from them and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Azmoodeh has more than two decades of experience in leadership positions at some of the world’s biggest technology companies. Azmoodeh joins Linktree from Snap, where she most recently served as VP of engineering.
During her time at Snap, Farnaz led Snap’s AR monetisation org before creating Snap’s Platform Engineering initiative, consisting of engineers and data scientists.
Rogoway has spent the past 15 years at the intersection of content and technology. He has deep roots in consumer tech and the creator economy.
He recently served as the chief product and content officer at Headspace, where he was responsible for Headspace products and content on all platforms and devices.
This included leading the overarching global product and content strategy, scaling Headspace’s direct-to-consumer and B2B enterprise offerings, and overseeing growth and biz dev during a time of massive growth for the company.
Austin joins Linktree from mindfulness app Calm, where she served for the last two years as global head of marketing and communications. During her time at Calm, Austin led all marketing efforts during a period of meteoric growth, in which the app saw downloads double during the early days of the pandemic.
In her tenure, Austin reimagined Calm’s content promotion and brand and oversaw all social, editorial, communications and publicity for the app.
