Anti-spam company Brightmail is expanding its international operations with new regional headquarters.

The firm has opened new offices in London, UK; Munich, Germany; and Sydney, Australia. The London and Sydney offices will be the regional headquarters of their respective regions, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Brightmail runs operations centers in Dublin, Ireland and San Francisco, which monitor global spam. A third center in Taiwan is due to be opened shortly.

"Brightmail is...blocking almost two billion spam messages a day, for over 300 million end-users," said Ken Schneider, CTO of Brightmail. "Despite new laws and greater public awareness, spam continues to undermine trust in email."
