Saise will initially roll out a Request IP-based virtual private network (VPN) to 23 UltraTune sites across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia. It plans to eventually add up to 120 sites.
The company's 56k Internet access will be upgraded to 512/128 ADSL as part of the deal. Saise CEO Jules Rumsey said Request VPN was competitive on price, information security and reliability.
“The consistent performance and low life-cycle costs offered by a network-based private IP VPN from Request...was attractive,” Rumsey said.
Sharren Cameron, UltraTune IT and training manager, said the scaleable network would be completed in two weeks. “UltraTune will experience immediate benefits in secure inter-office data communications enabling better reporting, a dramatic increase in Internet access speed and fixed monthly pricing for data,” Cameron said.
Saise is a Gold channel partner for broadband vendor Request. RequestVPN won an ATUG award for the best SMB-focused communications solution in March.
