Cremen was appointed following the resignation in September of former boss Andrew Fox.
Fox claims he is working on launching a new local IT company, but is refusing to give out details of the new venture.
Cremen, meanwhile, starts in Fox's old job on January 1, with Bruce Symes acting as GM in the interim.
Cremen will relocate from the company's New Jersey office in the US, where he has been district manager for the past three years, building revenue in his locality to US$70 million.
Cremen has been based in the North East of the US for the past nine years and spent two years selling to Wall Street, closing sales on accounts such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
