Fresh myGov issue hits Centrelink customers

Users began complaining of issues accessing myGov early Monday morning, with some taking to Twitter to report proxy errors when trying to access services.

The department advised after 12pm that myGov was experiencing “intermittent issues”.

“We are aware of intermittent issues impacting Centrelink online accounts and Express Plus Centrelink mobile apps,” it said.

“We’re working hard to fix these and we're sorry for any inconvenience.”

The fresh problems follow a near week-long technical issue affecting customers of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs when attempting to transact through myGov last week.

Update 5:31pm: A DHS spokesperson advised the issues have been resolved.
