Fortinet appoints Steven Woodhouse as field CISO Australia

Cybersecurity solutions provider Fortinet has appointed Steven Woodhouse as field chief information security officer (CISO) – Australia.

Woodhouse has experience in this field as a security technology futurist, focused on thought leadership, executive relationships, and driving sales in the region.

He has more than 25 years of proven of success and diverse experience across IT strategies, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, IT infrastructure, and governance and risk management. Throughout his career, Woodhouse has become a trusted IT advisor to the cybersecurity community and business executives.

Woodhouse has held senior roles in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, he was CISO and executive director – enterprise technology services for the Queensland Education Department.

Prior to this Woodhouse was the chief information officer (CIO) at NSW Land Registry Services. He has also been a consultant to both public and private-sector organisations focusing on information security and business operating models.
