Greig will lead the telco's sales and go-to-market strategies aimed at building the voice and data company's corporate customer base. As GM of HP, Greig was responsible for sales, marketing and distribution of all HP products and services to customers in Australia and New Zealand.

Former HP Australia GM Chris Greig has landed a sales director role at Macquarie Corporate Telecommunications. Greig – who was general manager of HP's Business Customer Organisation – has recently consulted to several technology companies on issues such as managing complex distribution networks and increasing sales force effectiveness, a company statement said.

Greig originally joined HP in 1988 after four years as international sales manager for a subsidiary of Control Data Corporation. He has 20 years experience in the industry and currently serves as a non-executive director of the ASX-listed integrator and services company The Volante Group.
