Analysts such as Gartner reveal that IT spending is no longer only the remit of the IT department.
In fact, the majority of IT procurement takes place in business departments such as HR, marketing, finance and operations where all members of the c-suite play a role in driving the digital transformation agendas of their departments, and broader organisation.

Digital transformation is nearly a part of every company’s agenda, with Gartner noting 87 percent of senior business leaders have digitalisation as a company priority.
From the same report, 91 percent of organisations are involved in some form of digital initiative.
Digital Nation will explore how technology has impacted the financial, marketing and HR departments at this year’s inaugural Digital As Usual event.
