Nears completion of churn.

Sydney ISP Comcen has transitioned about 70 percent of a "few hundred" TSN Internet customers onto its own network after buying them over the weekend.

iTnews reported yesterday that Port Macquarie's TSN had sold its non-NSW customers to Comcen after an earlier sale allegedly fell through.

Comcen's marketing manager Bill McArthur told iTnews today that Comcen had taken on the accounts of a "few hundred" broadband customers.

It was earlier thought that the acquisition involved as a few as 120 customers.

"About 70 percent have churned over and the rest should be done in 24 to 48 hours," McArthur said.

"We are just glad to help the customers get back online. As an industry, we don't want to see customers stranded."

TSN chief Michael Saunders said yesterday the ISP was pulling back to focus on a DSLAM rollout in Sydney and regional Australia.
